What is 8956?

8956.org is here to change the lives of every child under five years of age in Wichita County by ensuring each child is school ready when they enter kindergarten. If a child is not ready to learn in kindergarten, he/she is less likely to be reading on level by the end of 3rd grade. And, if a child is not reading on level by the end of 3rd grade, that child is considerably less likely to graduate high school. We are here to help.
